A Brief Update: Show tomorrow & Album Status
Hey all! It has been quite some time since I left an update here on the official blog. Just so you all know, I have a show tomorrow night at Boomers in Las Vegas (3200 West Sirius Avenue). Here is a look at the flyer.

Should be a great show, I'm headlining!
Now the next item of business, We are the Rainmakers, my first full length album, is still in development. Originally scheduled to be released in March, we now have no ETA on when it will be finished. This past December, my father passed away. This has been pretty hard for me to deal with, and in some ways, has caused me to go back to the drawing board on some of the new tracks. I guess the raw emotion I have been feeling just doesn't match up with what I already had down. On the lighter side, there are about 21 instrumentals floating around for this album, so it should be a good size and MORE than worth the wait! (and eventual 9.99!) Also rumors of beats from Phil A. and Professor Def to make the final cut!
Look forward to more performances and possibly a tour once the album is complete!
That is all...
I’m on JANGO!
In a plea for attention, I have put 'In The Moment' up for play on Jango Internet Radio. If I get 50 plays, I get added to the regular rotation! Help me out! http://www.jango.com/music/Considerate
Now, and the very near future.
I just wanted to share a little bit about things going on in my mind, in my life, and on the horizon. First, it feels great to finally have a "product" available. I've been working so hard to finish anything that I felt I was never going to finish anything. After a lot of soul searching, I decided to release My Words as an EP, with all the songs I have currently that were fit for consumption. It marks a beginning and an end in my life (and I care not to elaborate.)
So, now that we have discussed the EP, let's move on to what is on the horizon. Instead of touring or performing this EP live, I've decided to head straight to my next project, currently titled "We Are The Rainmakers", the first full length album that will be released by yours truly. This time though, things will be mastered and MORE than worth a 9.99 purchase on iTunes... TRUST! The deadline for this project is Feb, so keep your ears ready and primed for some previews right here at blog.darkcomfort.com.
The last bit of info I want to throw at you all is my feelings on the current local scene here in Las Vegas. There are a lot of well intentioned people (and also a lot of hateful, greedy people as well) trying to move the scene forward, but the audience, so far, just isn't really into any sort of experimental hip-hop/electronic/folk/post hip-hop project from a local head. At least, this is what I've come across. Even some of the most talented outfits in this town get very little audience support. I will not be naming any venues or artists by name, but there really are some great things here. In closing, I can't wait to tour the US to get some greater perspective of scenes around the country!
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy My Words!
